why would you people who eat fast food have issue with this?

If you guys payed slightest attention to what goes in that garbage you would think twice.

 McDonalds make profit off selling double cheese Burgers for $1 lol  Should be the first hint

anyways a lot nations in eourpe/asia eats horse meat.

And they use very little beef in their hamburgers. That combined with how cheap beef is in the US (thanks to ginormous government subsidies) is why they can sell them so cheap.

Hmm, I guess I like horsemeat.
#54 Posted by MirkoS77 (8101 posts) -
I don't care. If it tastes good and doesn't kill me, why should I?
#55 Posted by Teenaged (31748 posts) -

Maybe thats why Burger King is better than McDonalds. :P

Anyway, I dont know why the consumers would even trust those establishments. When I go there I always know I risk eating things I'm not supposed to. I only trust that they at least make whatever it is they are feeding me not harmful for my health.

#56 Posted by sonicare (53595 posts) -

Whew.  I thought there were things in there far worse than horse.

#57 Posted by Pirate700 (46465 posts) -

Is this just in the UK? Horse meat is typically really expensive.

#58 Posted by iHarlequin (1928 posts) -

I'm glad they came out about it - we had our suspicions before, but hearing it from the horse's mouth is another thing entirely.

#59 Posted by sexyweapons (5302 posts) -

That...is a lot better than what I would assume.
#62 Posted by LordQuorthon (5387 posts) -

Meh... It's not like people who eat fast food actually care about what they are eating.

#63 Posted by helwa1988 (2116 posts) -
I rather have horsemeat than that pink slim crap they put in fast chains beef in the US.

I didn't say it was good. I there wasn't anything wrong with it. The media practically made it out to be poison.

I wish America would slaughter some horses, I want to eat some horse meat. Stuff has to be amazing nutrition wise; I'd assume high protein and low fat.

I don't care what sort of meat they sell, but I don't like that they deny selling horse meat when they are doing it.. they should face some serious consequences for flat out lying to customers and misleading people about what they are eating.
#95 Posted by Goyoshi12 (9687 posts) -

TBH, I think that'd shoot their sale rates through the roof, really.

#96 Posted by Netherscourge (16350 posts) -

#97 Posted by theonlylolking (152 posts) -

I still do not get why horses cannot be eaten or sold in supermarkets.

#98 Posted by Riverwolf007 (24166 posts) -

meh, it's just horsemeat, eat it and quit your crying.

horsemeat will look like a freaking luxury item one of these days when we are all getting by on mealworms.
