What's with the vast amount of software being rammed down our throats when installing stuff? You can't download even a reputable piece of software like Flash from Adobe without having to uncheck numerous boxes to opt out of crap like McAfee, Dropbox, etc.

People that don't know what they're doing are going to be swamped with shite. Is this acceptable? Is it your own fault for not being careful or do these companies deserve a smack in the face?

Companies are being dicks but I put the ultimate responsibility on the user end.

I hate how computers can't even come pre-loaded with a full version of Office, it's always that 30-day trial shit. IMO don't bother putting trail stuff on.
