British sniper kills six Taliban with one bullet

You seem bitter. Obviously luck also played a part....but that doesn't negate the action.

@LJS9502_basic: Yep, every time I try to go out there and kill Taliban I only manage to hit 3 with 1 bullet so I'm terribly bitter =P

Seriously though, the way I read the article it seemed that the fact he was a suicide bomber had nothing to do with why he shot that one instead of any of the others, so the theory that he was somehow aiming at the kill switch seems unlikely.

“They were in contact and he was moving to a firing position. The sniper engaged him and the guy exploded.

“There was a pause on the radio and the sniper said, ‘I think I’ve just shot a suicide bomber’. The rest of them were killed in the blast.”

If he was actually trying for the 6-for-1 I don't think "I think I've just shot a suicide bomber" would be his reaction so I'm only arguing that a multi kill was the result of luck/circumstance and not any additional skill from the sniper =)
