You are saying he ISNT!?MadExponentNo, he's not. He's a man that has made some very questionable reveiws in the past. This time his questionable reviews lost CNet advertising money. And since we all know money is what make the world go round, they decided to get rid of the problem, thus they fired him.

He's just some dude. He'll get a job elsewhere; until then he's just inconvenienced. It's funny because HE is probably less concerned about all this than YOU. Get a life. :|

Ok dude, they lost probably around half of their paying members in A DAY. Money makes the world go round, but Gamespot lost every single itty bitty bit of ethical dignity in A DAY also. IGN is so damn happy right about now that CNET did the stupidest possible thing.
Your simple model for reasoning is unfounded indeed due to the fact that total access members pay $40 a year for service. Let's say....hmm 5000 of them left today alone. Thats $200K alone.......
Can someone explain to me what's going on? I haven't been on Gamespot in a while and I'm terribly confused:?

It already has 2900 diggs....ahahahahahahaha CNET is so screwed
I find it funny that a lot of people think that itis ok for someone to be fired because the publisher gets mad at the review score.anime-2k3
That's called life. People get fired every day for an assortment of reasons...which generally amount to the employer is no longer happy with you as an employee.
