blocking phone numbers

Everyone seems to have a different answer for this over at the Verizon forums, so why not try here?

If you block a phone number, does it automatically block both texts and calls from the person?

oh, I thought you meant blocking your own number (*67 or *68 or whatever) when you make prank calls.

Ill be helpful here. Im on verizon and I have blocked some numbers before. You can block numbers for 90 days for free on the Verizon website and after the 90 days are up you just have to remember to put them back there again. It will block both calls and text from that number.Â
