That's a very Radio 1 list you got there. Bet if you went to 12 we'll get Bastille and Labyrinth in there.

I'm having trouble mentioning anything. A lot of the new stuff I been listening to this year is stuff I discovered from 2011 and 2012. Not had my ear to the radio stations and even the concerts I been to is stuff they brought out in 2012. One problem I have with regards to radio stations is living in the South West of England we don't have an alternative radio station, so it's either Radio 1, 2 which are not for me (apart from B-Trix's session at 2 - 4 am on a Monday morning. Our local station is a stuck 80's record.

I will probably find my favorite track that came out in 2013 halfway through the year.

"Soul Eraser" by Byzantine

Fleshgod Apocalypse's entire album "Labyrinth"

"Kingdom of Conspiracy" by Immolation

I tend not to listen to "songs" and single them out. Full albums are what are memorable to me.

The Civil Wars- From This Valley

Of Monsters and Men- Dirty Paws

Few are not even from last year but most lists were just full of pop and rap trash.

I haven't heard enough 2013 albums to answer this, but Black Skinhead would be my favorite.

Limiting this to only one song per artist as Eminems new CD would just own everything for me.

3) Mindless Self Indulgence-Witness

2) Cage the Elephant-It's Just Forever

1) Eminem-Rap God

Only doing a top 3. 2013 was a pretty shitty year for music for me....

None really I've found that music has declined into mediocrity, and essentially has become too produced, and directed for the masses(country isn't country anymore well that was true about 20 years ago, and rock has landslided into just terrible music, and imo pop hasn't been good since before the 70s(i do like some eagles though)). I find it hard to find a half intelligent song these days. I'm still going to try, and find good music, but so far I'm sticking with music from the past, there is still plenty I've never heard, but to be fair there is a lot of terrible then as well.

PS: I'm not a fan of hiphop, rap, or death(or whatever you call that screaming music) metal in the least. Just not my style.

Bastille - "Pompeii"

Lorde - "Million Dollar Bills"

Chvrches - "Recover" and "Science/Visions"

I liked the new Vampire Weekend album, also The 1975. Arctic Monkeys was okay, too.

I didn't really like any of the big, top 40 tracks this year. Daft Punk was eh. "Still into you" is cringe-worthy.

Eh I can't think of anything. I mean there were some good albums this year, especially in the electronic genre, but I can't think of any particular songs that stood out.

The entirety of Random Access Memories excluding Doin' It Right, Contact, and Motherboard. It was hard choosing the three to exclude.

Also, no fair that the Japanese got an extra track on for their RAM release.
