Best music creation software

What program do you recommend to create music with?

depends on what you're trying to do

FL studio is good for most people if you're trying to do electronic music.

I use FL Studio, its the only one I've used but it works great

I use Sonar 8 Producer in my 64 bit DAW. I used to use Cubase 3 with WinXP Pro 32 bit.

I think that the new Sonar offers a lot more for the 64 bit world vs the new Cubase so that's why I went with it.

I used to use FLStudio its great for learning. Im trying to get my hands on Logic Pro

FL Studio is too complicated for me, and there's no real tutorial for it. So, I use Mixcraft 4. I also use audacity.mike_me

I have used FL, Protools, Cubase, Logic and countless others, but nothing comes close to Ableton Live. It fits my style of recording and live performance perfectly.

I dont' use any but don't see Pro Tools mentioned. I think a lot of artists use it.
