Why is it abbreviated to BMO?
It's pronounced "Bee-Mo" as in B Mo, as in Bank of MOntreal.harashawn ohhhh so that's why. I always wondered because the initials doesn't make sense in French either.
BANK of MOntreal. BOM sounds like BOMB and I'm sure if they had ever gone by that, it would have been gone as soon as 9/11 happened.
