Okai im really looking to get a new phone. However, I am having trouble deciding. I do want a phone with a kyeboard but one that slides to the side. However, the more I look at phones it seems the phones with the features I want will not be there. It seems I may have ot go wit ha touch screen phone. Im a little worried that it might be overwhelming using them..idk. I do like what at @t offers with the motorloa backflip, atc aria. They look like good phones. I jst do not like how the aria is $130 (wtf!). I guess my question is what should I get? I do not want a i phone..at all.

From what I have heard they hold up pretty good. Only major problem that I now about is they have that terrible reception

AT&T isn't even bad? Anyway I have the Aria, and I LOVE it. It has great technology, almost like a Droid pretty much. Only part I don't like is the texting, it's all touch screen so prepare to be slightly annoyed.

the backflip is now discontinued so it should be free, but if you get either just remember that you have to get a mandatory minimum $15 internet feature on it

What do you mean by discontinued? You have to get it? WTF is that? That must be the same for any phone that uses the internet under at@t.

If you want a physical QWERTY keyboard you might want to try a Blackberry of some sort. Perhaps the new Torch or a Bold.

Othwerise, if you aren't getting an iPhone then an Android phone such as the Aria or Captivate with SWYPE for typing works great.

You could get a Samsung Mythic. It has a full QWERTY keyboard, as well as lots of cool features like web, TV, Voice commands, email, 3.2 mp camera, Multitasking, and bluetooth. It only costs $50 with a new contract.

Get the Samsung Captivate... I was using the Tmobile version and it was simply amazing. I loved it! But it would be similar to the iphone in a few ways and is all touch screen.

Does internet on phone go through the company or the service you have on your computer? Like does it run through local routuers or the at t towers? In all honesty the only thing im gonna use internet for is small. Like facebook and the weather really.

Go to an AT&T store and try out the phones and see what you like. I recommend the Samsung Captivate, great phone.
