I don't think there's been a comedy that's rivaled the quality of Seinfeld like Arrested Development. From writing to acting, it's just maddening how they squeezed so much quality content into three short seasons. The constant homosexual inneundos from Tobias, the call backs, the play on words, the subtle foreshadowing of what would be the series finale just seems to outclass Seinfeld's scope. But tell me, what do you think? Arrested Development or Seinfeld? "I've made a huge mistake." or "I was in the poool!"?
Arrested Development has it's moments, but is nothing compared to Seinfeld. Even if you compare the first three seasons of each show. Seinfeld wins hands down.
i I think arrested is pretty good. I used to watch it when it was on once a week, then it got cancelled, but another station has picked it up so maybe theres a chance of another season. And yes I think it does have more quality than seinfeld, even though seinfeld is still great.

Arrested Development is new and shiny. It's my pick - it also makes me laugh, where Seinfeld merely makes me chuckle. Not to say that Seinfeld is bad...it just seems tame compared to Arrested Development.
