Not really. Though I keep up with the most important stuff which are usually all over the news.

Only when it affects me directly, or when it's something I don't like.

For example,

War on Drugs, gun control, and wasteful tax spending.

I don't like how in America smoking weed can give you more prison time than raping a child.

I don't like dealing with the ATF, and having a submachine ban when I can just bump fire almost any gun and it's legal. What's the purpose in a machine gun ban when I can walk into walmart right now and turn an AR-15 automatic in less than 15 minutes?

I hate looking at America spending tons on Iraq and Afghan, but my country still has the same infrastructure from the 1960s.

I hate politics. My dad watches Fox News incessantly. There's never any effort to come to any agreement or resolution, it's just all constant bickering and assigning blame. Complete waste of time.

I was for a while but I found it's not for me. They like to think that it effects everything we do and we should always think of it at all times. Politicians demand to be the rock stars. Yes it does effect everything we do, but we don't all see it like that. Some of us are so disenfranchised by it all, we gave up caring. We tend to deal with the situation if it faces us and think "whatever" to whatever goes on behind the scenes.

I'm not interested in it anymore.

I like to see who's killing who today in Africa and the Middle East. Waiting for the Muslim extremists to take over Seria and the U.S Russia to join forces into Ultra Army Prime! Then it's full scale war, Taliban sticking bombs on buses and killing random innocent people while the big boys leave massive holes in the ground of what was once some tribal hideout (which was probably, already a hole in the ground)

Most definitely. Why anyone would not want to be in the loop of current events and the impacts those have on your life is beyond me.

I am interested in it, but 95% of it is bs.

I'm intrested in politics outside of party politics.

I feel like I should be but no. Whenever I look at the news, I find either bullshit or depression.
