Very tacky. Not classy at all. Just lost some respect from me.

Really? After everything that South Park has done, this is when you lose respect?
Are you talking about the humancentipad one? That was a while ago, so I have no idea why you are bringing it up now. Also, that was probably more of a critique to all the ToU agreements people are forced to agree to on a constant basis than apple itself, though SP did obviously poke fun at them as a vehicle for their commentary.
You know that the episode they were making in that documentary aired back in April, right?krazykillazNo, in fact I don't actually watch the show. My brother was watching it and I was in the room, and I noticed a ton of references to Apple (including Steve himself).

Pretty much what I was thinking. Did they mention anything about Apple using child labour to make their products? The fact that the working conditions are so terrible, people have commited suicided and been poisoned? And people say Steve Jobs was a wonderful man and that he should be admired for his accomplishments... pffft, yeah, right... not when they include the killing of innocent people.the reason they showed that episode was because there was a documentary about how matt and trey make south park episodes and the apple episode was featured throughout the documentary. it was just a coincindence. that's all
It aimed at Apple specifically because their TOUs are particularly infamous. I forget what the exact kerfuffle was, but back around the time that episode aired there was some incident with the iTunes TOU that caused an uproar, and that's what the episode was parodying. Are you talking about the humancentipad one? Big loss, woo!
Was this a new episode or one of the many reruns from before Steve kicked it?
The latter.
Thanks! :)
I honestly don't see the point of this thread now.

That makes two of us. The episode wasn't even that bad, they've done a lot worse.

Not knowingly it seems, but events earlier this year show they have chosen their factories in China poorly.

Frankly, of the things parodied I'd say that the entire concept of the huge EULAa that are everywhere, and 'The Human Centipede' were the most parodied. Apple was kind of secondary, except for "geniuses" bit. Either way, who cares? Cartman's first "before you **** me," dialogue was pretty good though. They were actually pretty positive about apple products, and Steve Jobs himself was just a set-piece, not the object of parody. Anyway... re-run, so... how is this news?

Oh snap! BURN!
Yeah the humancentipad. The episode came out several months ago.

This begs a new question - will the writers of South Park parody his death in some way?

My guess is not for a couple of episodes.[QUOTE="Serraph105"]

Probably not his death, but the response to his death in the media... that's more their style. Please Log In to post.
