In case you don't know who she is, she has a show called Decoded on MTV "News"'s YouTube channel. Here's one of her more recent ridiculous videos.

I usually watch counter argument videos that discuss hers, such as Some Black Guy and Andy Warski. That's usually the one time I hear about her videos. They're almost as bad as Buzzfeed's questions for white people videos.

What are your thoughts on her?

@JustPlainLucas: Nope, she is a racist bigot that happens to marry a White guy and thinks she can't be a racist.

The entire Decoded and Laci Greene MTV social media team is another reason why MTV is still losing ratings.

MTV got infiltrated by these extreme ideologues a few years back. They've been screwed ever since.

Surely everyone remembers their "White people" documentary.

At least they haven't disabled their comment section and like/dislike feature.

I'll just leave this here:

Never heard of her. And don't see myself taking interest in her videos.

Its honestly a tad bit racist, to suggest minorities who are citizens. Aren't capable of getting ID's. After all without an ID, you can't drive. Get certain jobs, particularly good paying government ones. Open a bank account, or access your money in the event your debit card doesn't work. Take out loans. Travel abroad. And you can be detained for failing to show ID. Or in the event you are the victim of a crime. It makes properly identifying you much more difficult. Particularly if your knocked out or dead.

Every now and then I think "Maybe I should get TV again, maybe I should start listening to FM radio again" then I hear about people like this and I think "Nnnnnnnnnnnnope"

Thanks for reaffirming that I have made the right choice. Ignorance is, as often as it is not, bliss.

Never heard of her, but after watching that clip. I can say that my not watching anything on MTV for the last 5 or so years was a good decision.

Damn it, I tried. I really really tried to make it through that video, but the moment she pulled out the double standard racism definition I had to check out. And to think, I was sorta sympathetic to the topic she's pushing, but damn, by the end, I'm practically willing to say f it and switch sides. So, good job FR and MTV, you managed to damage your own position with this BS. *Walks away in disgust*

@JustPlainLucas: Hmm, she has the charisma of a wet dog on a icy morning.

So not really interested in watching anything by her at all.

If Tumblr existed in the 80s, MTV would have catered to the people who spent lots of time there. What MTV does and who it caters to hasn't really changed. In the 70's and the 80's youthful rebellion was giving the finger to "the establishment" while paying for cable TV to listen to the top ten, and letting ads tell you what was cool. Or, you know, bugging your parents to pay. Now youthful rebellion means poor people screaming "You are the reason Rich people have everything!" at other poor people.

I am sure if MTV is around in thirty years, they will be saying something the current generation thinks is asinine.
