Anime, Scifi, and Comic Conventions

I tend to go to several cons a year and thought I would ask if anyone here has attended any local (to your area) cons and which they would recommend.

I live in the Midwest so I tend to stay in this area. Anime Conventions I have attended include:

AnimeZing! - (Davenport. IA)

Anime Midwest - (Rosemont, Illinois)

Con Alt Delete - (Chicago, Illinois)

AniMinneapolis - (Minneapolis, MN)

I have not really had any negative experiences at any of these cons and really enjoyed myself during the time I spent there. There also tends to be a lot of gaming that goes on over the course of the weekend (for me at least) and I would highly recommend them. I also found http://blackmateria.org/ - a website with several conventions ran by the same group so if you live in Nashville, Roanoke, or Atlanta you should check them out. I am however hoping to attend more gaming themed conventions in the future. Anybody know of some located in my vicinity?
