Earlier today I put out some bloody meat to thaw for dinner. After it thawed, the blood pooled in the aluminum foil the meat was wrapped in. I put the meat steak on the frying pan and was about to crumple up the foil with blood in it and throw it away like I normally do, but then I poured the blood all over the meat in the frying pan. It sizzled and turned brown and was all up in my steak. I felt stronger after eating the fried blood.

I remember when I was younger that when I would get wounds, I would sometimes lick the blood to stop it from bleeding and I remember times that I greatly enjoyed sucking my own blood. It was pretty tasty. Are these blood urges part of my DNA and/or vampire ancestors?

- do you have any stories about blood?

- would you try cooked monkey meat that was a little bloody (rare to medium-rare)?

bloody or not I would not try any monkey meat.

Also don't say that you might be a vampire out in public, Blade might hear you and he hunts vampires.

@whipassmt: I hope he doesn't have an account here. D:

Aside from human meat, I would try any cooked meat (medium or greater).

I might be particular about which part of the animal I'm eating though... nah, meat is meat.

you are not a vampire. blood has been a food for quite a long time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_as_food

i only eat the skeletal muscle of an animal. i don't eat liver, kidney, sweetbreads, heart - any of that stuff.

why wouldn't you try human meat?

@CrownKingArthur: i fear getting a taste for human meat would make me want more of it... it'd probably get expensive trying to find human meat to quell that hunger all the time, y'know?

Using the blood that dripped from your steak in cooking it seems perfectly fine to me. I actually do it myself, when I can afford red meat that is.

I felt like an evil villain in a movie when I was pouring the blood; the music I was listening to, my attire, the time of day all screamed, "I'm a vampire!"

I can't wait for my next taste of blood. >:D

I like my steaks medium-rare and if it's a good cut, don't mind the blood.

My own blood, however, is gross. Can't stand the taste of it. Used to get bloody noses as a kid and hated the constant dripping down the back of my throat more than anything. Ugh. So nasty.

Maybe the blood in the chalice was really blood the whole time... and they were slipping me small amounts at a time to build my strength so that I eventually transform into a full on vampire. That would explain a lot.

@geniobastardo: I wish I was having werewolf symptoms instead, bro. This truly sucks.

blood is common in food. in fact your ancestors (and everyone else's for that matter) used to eat meat raw so..... My guess is you felt stronger because you were hungry and needed food. Vampires aren't real beyond the fact that some creatures receive their nutrition from blood. If you want to try to subsist on nothing but blood, go for it. more power to ya.

1) blood is blood. i'm sure I have some stories about it. Like the other day I cut myself... it was there. Sometimes when I'm really drunk and I cut myself it's hard to stop the bleeding. yay blood!

2) I would not eat monkey meat (because it would probably be too tendony and tough). I like my steaks rare, however. Gimme that shit blue.
