I don't have any firm reason to doubt what I am told. Why would countless people including several history teachers lie. The evidence points to yes, and I don't see what you could come up with.

Are you saying the German army was never in France, Poland, Russia? My grand-dad must've been in on the conspiracy because he claimed to have spent 1-2 years in an allied POW camp. I've heard other WWII accounts.

They have videos of Jews in the holocaust. Are you saying people starved themselves nearly to death just for the camera? Plus most Germans even admit to being wrong. Why would a majority of a country admit to something for no reason.

Regardless of the fact that we took their technology (spoils of war), we know they were really that bad because it wasn't that long ago. Pretty sure the last holocaust survivor just died this year. So there are actually still people alive who were there to personally witness the Nazi atrocities, and tell the stories in their own words. All media is corrupt, sure, but I, for one, have never learned anything about Nazis from the media that I didn't already know, from being told about it by my grandparents and their friends, who saw it with their own eyes.

If it makes you feel any better OP, there is the extreme rumor that Hitler offered up some Jews to the allies (I don't know a large part), but the Allies didn't take them. I am indifferent to that idea.

You should study history OP, if you ever see the opportunity, it seems like you are interested and you would see that they were that bad.

I'm sure that's possible, but I doubt it. Because they didn't need to make anything up. The stuff that was obvious and well-known facts, which no one even tried to hide (at the time) was more than bad enough for people to rightly consider Nazis to be the embodiment of evil, and Hitler to be the closest thing the world has ever seen to the Devil himself, walking the earth.

Nazi soldiers weren't necessarily anti semitic as many people portray them today. Many were simply soldiers who were a part of the German army prior to Hitler's rise to power.
Think of it like the War-crimes the USA is committing in modern times; soldiers receive orders to use drone strikes on X,Y,Z locations. It is their job, they're not only paid for it, but they're told they're protecting people, their country, their families.
Yet we constantly hear about how the USA uses double-taps on civilians, does that make all US soldiers bad people? Does it make the person doing the job they're ordered to do, a bad person? What if they didn't even know the people they were firing upon were innocent?

I'm not saying some people weren't/aren't completely barbaric, but in today's society, every Nazi is demonized. Which seems a little unfair.

The nuclear weapons are estimated to have saved 10-15 million lives, most of them Japanese, because they caused an immediate surrender by japan. A land invasion by the U.S. and russia would have killed millions.

World War II was a terrible freaking war in which estimates in the range of 60 million people died. Japan's civilian deaths were NOTHING compared to that of China, Russia, Poland, and Yugoslavia. Last I checked the U.S. did not nuke any of those countries. We don't even have to get into the holocaust to talk about the ridiculous number of civilians Germany killed.
