A question on something patented

Nothing, but isn't it weird that problems with over population are increasing, you'd think it would have gone down

I was looking through Google Patents and i was typing in random stuff and when i typed in condom it said "Filing date: Oct 19, 1987
Issue date: Aug 15, 1989"

So what did they use before that to prevent pregnancy and STD's?

Condoms have been around a long time before that.  The oldest condoms found (rather than just pictures or descriptions) are from 1640, discovered in Dudley castle in England. They were made of animal intestine.  And before that people just used coitus interuptus as a means of pregnancy prevention.PercivalCox

I don't see how a monkey could enjoy having sex with another monkey.  Maybe it's just me but a female with a hairy back looks just a little too much like my Aunt Lola :o
