A Song of Ice and Fire- A Game of Thrones
Of Mice and Men
The Grapes of Wrath
A Clockwork Orange
A Brave New World
Lord of the Flies
Animal Farm
The Da Vinci Code
Angels and Demons
Some of the above might be a tad over your head but you could probably handle em. It might also help us if you tell us a genre that you prefer...or something...
I've also heard that Slaughterhouse Five is a great book but I have yet to read it.
Of Mice And Men by John Steinbeck is my favorite book
The Watchmen by Alan Moore is my favorite graphic novel.
All Quiet on the Western Front, by far the best book I've ever read.UssjTrunksReally? Could you explain why? Not trying to start anything, I'm just genuinely interested. I read it when I was around his age and...I didn't really like it much...at all really...
Catcher in the Rye (the best book ever) or The Alchemist. Two of the best reads I ever picked up.VetteMan85
I found The Alchemist to be ass-hat. Loved The Catcher in the Rye though that's definitely one to read.
Catcher in the Rye (the best book ever) or The Alcemist. Two of the best reads I ever picked up.VetteMan85
Sweet Merciful Jesus Christ, Catcher in the Rye?!? That book was horrific!
Greatest book ever written: The Godfather, by Mario Puzo. Better than the movie, and that's saying something.

I loved the writing st*yle. Couldn't have conveyed his ideas any better in my opinion.
Read 'The House of the Scorpion' by Nancy Farmer. I read it when I was 14.Ex-Smoothie:P That's a really good book. I read it in seventh grade, when I was 13. I have it on my shelf still.
You will proably read this in high school, but it's a good read anyways: Of Mice and Men.sinistergoggles
I don't think I bonded more with the characters in any other book than this one. I really sympathized with the situation of George having to take care of Lennie and sticking with his best friend even if it meant losing jobs or having to run away. The ending was really good as well. Lennie:cry:

I think you will find yourself in the minority with that opinion.

There a lot of people who hate everything, but the Catcher in the Rye really pisses people off when they can't relate to Holden at all.[QUOTE="ElZilcho90"][QUOTE="VetteMan85"]Catcher in the Rye (the best book ever) or The Alcemist. Two of the best reads I ever picked up.VetteMan85
