Some ****** router are known to have trouble with the Wii. That being said.... Try updating both the router and Wii to the latest firmware, here is the ****** update. Make sure you are using Wireless Network Mode Mixed (B+G) or B Change your router channel from 6(default) to either 1 or 11. Configure a static IP on both the Wii and the router. Use MAC filter and set your Wii MAC address on your router. Try opening the ports the Wii uses on your router, like: TCP 28910, TCP 29900, TCP 29901, TCP 29920, TCP 80, TCP 443 and UDP 0 to 6553. Set the MTU size to 1500. Play with the stting a little more. If still doenst work, call ****** for help. Or sell the router and buy a Lynksys WRT54G, they work like a charm.

Yup login to your router and when your trying to connect your wii its mac code should come up then go to mac filtering and type that mac code in so its allowed to use the wifi connection.

You go to Utilities/Firmware update and either press the "Check Firmware" button or you press the "Browse" button next to the blank field and locate the .bin file you just downloaded (make sure is the correct version for your router).
