What's Your Favorite Wii U Video Game?

Bayonetta 2 was really awesome and so was captain toad too though... A lot of good games on wii u

@thegameboy: you sound childish by spilling out all that hyperbole for a single game,as a loyal SSB gamer,I see its roster as the best one yet..though I'm planning to get one for the old Wii's replacement,I'm sure I can come across a handful of titles that might catch my attention..

These are the sort of games I'm looking for,then again I can only pick one at a time considering that I can't afford an additional $150 worth of games on my list after I spent my money on the machine and a single game that comes with it.

UPDATE: sorry guys.......due to the massive hike of the USD recently,I'm afraid all of these coveted games I listed may not be able to be purchased in time to become my recommendations.

I'm going with Super Mario 3D World until I get to play Bayonetta 2. Super Smash Bros is great too.

Its hard, but i guess my favorite might be Splatoon/Pikmin 3/Hyrule Warriors/Super Smash Bros/New Super Luigi U/Mario Kart

I havnt really played my Bayonetta 1+2/NES Remix/Wonderful 101 too much. I havnt even put Bayonetta 2 in the system yet. Ive been enjoying them all so far, i cant wait to play a bunch of other ones i dont have yet. I just bought New Super Luigi and Hyrule Warriors, i bought both brand new for $29.99. Found Super Luigi at Walmart in the mountains on vacation and got Hyrule at target cause they put it in front of The Voice for Wii U at $29.99. Was amazed they gave it to me for that price.

I promised myself i wouldnt play them much until i beat Pikmin 3, but that didnt last long.

Smash 4

Well, the only two WiiU games I have are Nintendo Land and Mario Kart 8, so I guess the obvious choice is... Nintendo Land.

:P (To be totally honest I've probably spent like maybe ten minutes with Nintendo Land)

Really looking forward to Xenoblade, Fatal Frame and Yoshi's Woolly World.

Splatoon and Pikmin 3!

Looking forward to Xenoblade chronicles X, but MH3U is probably my favorite Wii U title.

Nothing will top Pikmin 3 for me. My favorite Nintendo franchise.

Right now, Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze tops the list. It's a beautiful game with some of the best levels I have played in a platformer in years. It may be dethroned this year with Xenoblade coming out.

I'd have to go with Mario Kart 8. Gameplay is solid, stellar visuals, and the music is exceptionally great.

I would maybe say Mario 3D World if I knew more people that really liked to master the mario games. I'm surprised the multiplayer aspect of this game hasn't received more recognition. It is done extremely well. I suppose it goes to show that the general gaming community prefer to play alone, online etc. Shame as the local format could be so much more. I'd really like to see 4 player type Streets of Rage--games in that vein that could really benefit from new hardware and more screen space.

Dang... good call. My top 3 is Bayonetta 2, DKCTF, and Captain Toad. Splatoon might find its way in there though.

I got it with the platinum rewards with club nintendo, but I have been waiting to play the game coop with someone and when im not working... Hopefully Ill get to start it soon if its really good

Its one of those games that I wish had online coop. I'm hopeful that Nintendo finds a way to pull this stuff off with NX. If Nintendo is smart all of their games will have online coop next generation. I didn't get to play it all the way through with a friend, but the times I did were excellent. It might be the best 2D platformer I played in years.

Ya, I always liked couch coop though. Nintendo seems to be one of the few that consistently put out local multiplayer games, so as long as they dont stop providing it, I will be good

I still need to play luigi U. I think I would like pikmin 3 if it didnt have a time limit. I have only played a bunch of Wii games that I missed and WWHD, bros u, 3d world. And quite a few VC games. Waiting it out until X.

Hyrule Warriors. It is by an far, the best game in the Warriors series of game by Omega Force, one of my all-time franchises. Even if it isn't a main entry in the series.

Haven't played Bayonetta 2 yet, but my mind might change once I do. and I'm holding out on maybe Super Mario Maker claiming top spot once that is released. On a side note, also looking foward to Dragon Quest Heroes coming tot he states, as I am a huge fan of OF's action games.

Out of the 18 retail Wii U games I have bought. My favorite is Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze. A great game.

This is my top 5. I debated if I should have put Captain Toad treasure tracker on here somewhere, but I ended up considering the ones on the list better overall.

The Wii U does have alot of good games, wonderful 101, Splatoon and SSB4 to name a few that I did not personally like, but can see is technically good games.

Bla bla, me debating with myself, I will have to put up this top 5, with Mario kart 8 as my preferred Wii U game.

My favorite right now is Splatoon.

Definitely Splatoon for me.

Super Mario 3D World excellent level design and lots of charm.
