Hello all, I'm considering a New 3ds (never owned any DS) and have some questions:

1) do games go out of print for 3ds? One game I want is Kingdom Hearts, and it seems to be unavailable everywhere.

2) what are your top 3 games for the system? Prefer older titles that are cheaper.

Thanks!

1) yes at times games do go out of print, likes in stores or something like that. But you can find copies online more easily.

2) being subjective is difficult to be in this topic, but I'll try.

#1) ocarina of time. This game is also hard to find as I have heard.

#2) is fire emblem: awakening.

#3) is a tie between a link between worlds and super mario 3D land.

Most games you can still find. My top 3 are Mario Kart 7, Gunman Clive 2, and Resident Evil Revelations, but there's a ton of fantastic games. The main advantage of the New 3DS beside being able to play the new games that won't play on the old system is better 3D. The viewing sweetspot is much broader.

You can always upgrade your SD card and go digital. Almost all retail games are there on the eshop. The only exception I can remember is Metal Gear Solid 3, which isn't there because... Aliens or something.

A Link Between Worlds is my favorite game ever. The Smash Bros version for the 3DS is quite spectacular and Mario Kart 7 and Fire Emblem: Awakening are amazing. Pick either one of them depending on your personal taste.

If you haven't played Ocarina of Time, the 3DS version truly is the definitive one.

The first question I feel has been duly answered. As for my top 3, they are super personal:

1. Bravely Default

2. Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D

3. TLoZ: Link Between Worlds

I would also consider SSB. It's a good game if you're a fan of the series.
