I just realized that I'm a dork. Does anyone else stand when they play games?? I never do... except for when I'm fighting a boss in Final Fantasy 13. The boss fights can be like 15-20 minutes sometimes and get pretty intense later in the game. I was fighting one yesterday and when I was done I realized I was standing a few feet from the TV... I started out sitting and didn't even realize I was standing until the fight was done :lol: . I don't recall ever getting that focused on a battle that I inched towards the TV while standing. Seriously... dork.,,,roboccs

I think I've started to like handhelds more than consoles ... or the 3DS just seems more interesting to me as of late. I'm finding it kind of boring to play console games, even series that I love, I wish I could just play it on a device in my hand instead.

I'm also starting to like handhelds more than consoles, but it's mainly because my gaming addictions would be much healthier on a portable.

My play sessions tend to be smaller on a handheld than a console.

I'm suspose to have four, but I dropped bio when I recognized that the lab and the lecture resulting in me having two midterms in one day one after another and two labs in one day one after another,but I may not get enough time to look over my notes for any midterm I have 2h30minutes later.Tests usually take about 1h30minutes to 2h15minutes for me to complete. And the only lecture time that would work for me now for bio is a class about 1h 30 minutes early on the day I have my lecture.If I do the bio course three times per week instead it will conflict with my other courses lecture times and it will result in me having three midterms in one day because the midterms in the science courses I'm taking happen on the fifth or tenth week of lecture on the second lecture of that week.

Overkill! I normally have 5 but I divided my last year of my undergrad into 2 years, 3 courses per term. It's probably for the better this way for me.

I tend to play games for only 30 minutes to 60 minutes usually now - It fits better on a handheld as well, I get kinda bored after that long =/

Holy crap.I haven't put that much amount into any game all generation. My most played game is Brawl and that's about 300 hours from 2009 - 2011 (last time I played).

Good grief! In one year I racked over 700 hours in Goldeneye and I literally lost nights of sleep playing it. Many times I was up from 6:00 a.m. til 10:00 p.m. at night or later with brief breaks in between. I can't picture 1500+ hours in a year. Monster Hunter 3 I have 400+ hours on it and I got it the same day as Goldeneyewiifan001

Most of those hours came from summer vacation. I literally had all-nighters playing MH3. 21-hour-play-sessions.
I barely went out, I gained 20 pounds, and all my friends thought I was in another country. Officially my worst addiction yet. :x
MH3 is also affecting my grades. I'm failing tests, missing homework, oversleeping etc. My GPA dropped from an A to a B-, and Junior year is supposed to be the most important year in high school. Go figure.
Hopefully I'm able to go to video game rehab before I take my AP exams, subject tests, and SATs. :P

The only Wii game I have played for over 500 hours is Sonic and the secret rings.I wasted at least 200+ speed runningall the missionsin the game for some time attack site.Almost fixed the issue with my bio class and I did it by moving my math class to another day at an earlier time.

I have no idea how you guys could put that many hours into a game :O My top games are like:

2. MHTri - 76 hours
3. Goldeneye - 59 hours
4. Pirates! - 57 hours
5. DKCR - 49 hours

I don't necessarily disagree, but looking at the competition, the individual components that are voted on are pretty arbitrary. Controls, bosses, gear and story are all important features, and I can see why Skyward Sword won all of those categories. But those features don't mean anything if the dungeon design, overworld structure, pacing and difficulty balance are not up to speed. Not saying they aren't, but this seems like a competition of which game has better features rather than which game is better designed.

Three books. One course. Open Book + Open Notes Midterm, Final.

Could we say though that in the phrase "Half way done my second year", "second year" is the subject rather than the implied "I am...". In which case the phrase could be shown as "My second year is half way done", where done is a stative adjective?

Not saying that "Half way done my second year" is the best way to say that, but that may account for the missing "with".

It's not superior though, it's legitimately inferior in every way ... graphics, controls, dungeons, story, etc.
