As it looks now, Nintendo will have a HUGE gap from the beginning of June - till September in terms of major game releases for the Wii U. You could even say starting now, if you don't like Splatoon. (like myself... but i'll hold judgement until i try it)
Anyways, the reason for the thread..
A) Do you want to see NintendoLand 2?
B) Can you see this as a "quick fix" to get through the spring/summer releases, until the bigger blockbusters in the fall?
I thought the original pack in game was pretty under rated. In retrospect, clearly Wii Sports was a better pack in launch game, BUT Nintendoland showcased what the Wii U gamepad can do. I don't think you can blame Nintendoland for the lackluster launch/start of the Wii U Era. With the shorter mini-game format, Nintendo may be able to have smaller teams work these mini-games in a shorter amount of time.
Just an idea. games like:
Mario Kart: Original Battle modes
SMash Bros Spin off mini-game
Pikmin: Seek and Search
Donkey Kong Barrel Blast (Platforming)
Metroid - Boss Battle Tower Challenge
Bowsers Castle (Beat em up)
Wario's Challenge (timed Challenges, 3 stars)
Kirby's : (Flying game)
Yoshi: Strikers (Soccer game)
Star Fox (action game)
Luigi: Mansion (Sleath)
Princess Peach: (platforming)
Capt Toad: Puzzle
Splatoon: Local Multiplayer mini game demo
Animal Crossing / build a town
