http://playeressence.com/eiji-aonuma-will-discuss-zelda-for-wii-u-at-e3-2014/

When Mashable asked if Aonuma could say anything about Zelda Wii U, Aonuma replied: “I’ll say more at E3 2014.”

"I'll say more" is not quite an unveiling, but we will see.

Anouma also had an interview with Kotaku and had some more to say.

I think things that don’t change with the times are going to get lost. They’re going to be forgotten. As times change, people want different things. That’s obviously true with any kind of media, not just video games. You see a bit of that in Wind Waker HD and A Link Between Worlds. But the main place where I'm hoping to change a lot of things and show a lot of new ideas is in this next console Zelda. In the process of coming up with them, some of those ideas wound up in A Link Between Worlds. But my focus in changing things is going to be in this new console Zelda.

I think when you have something strong there at the base, something that [exemplifies] that ‘what’s it like’ feeling, then you can keep changing on top of it. I think that’s the best thing. I want to make sure that Zelda keeps being that type of thing.

It's not much but hopefully we'll see some concrete details at E3.

An E3 2014 announcement would mean the next Zelda game would be released about three years after Skyward Sword.

So it seems about right.

I am really hoping it will have the option to use Wii Motion Plus!

So a 2015 release I presume, perhaps even as late as holiday 2015

If it's anything like SS controls, I'd be okay with that.

Yes, please!

I can now say I'm officially hyped for E3 2014. Hard to believe Skyward Sword came out two years ago.

Same "change" PR we got with Skyward Sword, then received more of the same in a dumbed down package.

WW HD is a little over hyped imo, I do not like the sea as it is bland would rather be on epona. And the main thing is the dungeons are to simple, the fun in a zelda game is the feeling of satisfaction on figuring out puzzles in dungeons. sorry off topic

If they find a way to improve them, it will make it even better!

I'm not getting a Wii U until the new Zelda is on store shelves, so 2014 Holiday season would be nice. But, I would rather wait until 2015 than to see them rush it. Hopefully the price will be a good bit lower...

The sooner Zelda Wii U comes out the better for Nintendo and Wii U. I can't wait to watch the reveal trailer.
