What? How can you tell us to list our favorite games but then tell us to exclude our favorite games... It's not like you're asking for recommendations here.

10 Nintendo DS games that I enjoyed are 1. Thor God of Thunder 2.New Super Mario Bros. 3.Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days 4.Bioicle Heroes 5.Devilish 6.The legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks. 7.The New Zealand Story Revolution. 8.Crash of the Titans.9.Space Bust a Move. 10.Star Wars Lethal Alliance.

The Nintendo DS series is a great portable game system. It is kinda like a handheld Nintendo 64, Which was one of Nintendo's most fun game machines. The DS has a lot of great games. It is no wonder that it sold 154.98 million units from 2004-2014 second only to Sony Playstation 2

@Raptor_Herc: I'm amazed you've played Okamiden, Radiant Historia and Solatorobo. I've played all three and they're great (although Radiant Historia blew them out of the water IMO). I don't think I've met someone else whose played all three games.

@turtlethetaffer: I think you're the first person I've encountered who has played those three games as well. To that I must say that you have a good taste in games (a claim that is further strengthened by your top 10 list) :)

Of those three games, I would probably choose Radiant Historia as my favourite as well, although I adored the graphics and atmosphere of Solatorobo. I really hope the 3DS gets sequels/spiritual successors to these games.

@Raptor_Herc: Yeah I thought that even though the core gameplay of Solatorobo was rather simplistic the atmosphere and visuals were really something special. Plus despite the kiddy appearance I thought a lot of the characters were very well developed and the story (both of them) were pretty strong. Let me put it this way- The game succeeded in making me give a damn with what happened to the characters and not many games do that. Plus most of the robot designs were super badass. I loved just about every mech in that game.

I thought Radiant Historia was in a whole other league though. I loved the gothic art style and enemy designs, and the story was surprisingly grounded and political. It was really well written and interesting. Plus, that True Ending... It gave me goosebumps when it just goes through and shows al your party members and the people you helped. The battle system was a ton of fun, too. Something I really liked is how well each character played off each other. There really was no "wrong" combination of characters to use. I played around a lot with it and the amount of tactical options is pretty staggering.

Okamiden had a really strong story and of course production values. My main issue with it was that it focused too much on the dungeons. In Okami the dungeons were doled out conservatively. It was more about exploring the world and finding items and things like that, not the dungeons. Okamiden was more about the dungeons and I found that to be a bit disappointing because I was a lot more interested in seeing how the world had changed since Amaterasu had gone through and saved it rather than exploring bland dungeons. still a good game though, and like the first, has some cool New Game+ Incentives.

Not nearly enough. It's been several years since I played it last. Probably around 50 or so just guessing.

Lol. I've got 175 so far. Every once in a while I'll pick it up and play another 20 or so over the course of a few days.

That it is. I've logged hundreds of hours into it. It's easily my most-played DS game. I wasn't sure how good it would be, considering it was turn based and not real-time, but it blew me away. If it had a world editor and more factions to play as, it would be perfect in my eyes.

Totally agree. I'm not real big on turn based games, hence the name "starcraft" instead of "civilization." That Age of Empires game changed my mind though. I'm getting all nostalgic now. I think I'll have to check to local game stores and see if there's a used copy somewhere.

I saw it in my local game exchange. It's surprisingly cheap! Did you get to play AoE: Mythologies for DS? I meant to pick it up, but never did.
