Gamestop rumor or not?

I just got my n3dsxl from gamestop I pre:ordered the gold hyrule edition found out they r running this deal if u trade in a 3ds or 3dsxl they will give u $100 trade value towards a n3dsxl even the hyrule edition that I just got what's up with that did I get screwed? Is this for real ? I'm soooooo!!!! Pissed!!!

Just shop at more reputable places in the future, like Amazon or Best Buy or suspicious looking white vans with no windows....

I don't understand what the OP is upset about? Did you want to trade in your old 3DS but didn't before the transaction? You could always return it, do the trade and rebuy. Also, you need your old 3DS to transfer your digital content anyway. That's what I did in Feb I picked up my New 3DS XL, paid $200, transferred content, went back and they refunded $100 from my old blue 3DS XL.

@crimsonbrute: I honestly can't tell if I should demonize Gamestop for this or go with the deal... Gamestop, you so cray-cray.

You can get more $100 if you sell your 3ds xl on ebay.
