I think that error code means that the service itself is unavaible, and has nothing to do with your console/system

Are you sure that's the right number? I tried looking it up on Nintendo's website, it didn't come up with anything.

Error Code: 209800 Specific Error Code Not Found - General Troubleshooting

Try adjusting the "Channel" your wireless router broadcasts on. We highly recommend setting your wireless router to either channel 1 or 11. This can potentially increase the download speed. For information on accessing your router's settings, click here to select the brand name and model number of your router (if available).

Check your router's broadcast settings to find out if it is set to "G", "B", or "Mixed." Mixed typically works best, but try all three to see if it improves the network connection to the Wii console.

Make sure that any other interfering devices, such as microwaves and cordless phones, are turned off. Wireless keyboards and mice may also cause interference.

Hope that helps...

(that is from the link given by ozzsoan)

EDIT: oh and check the error code... bc like ozz said it seems to be the wrong number.. you could also google it.. there are some faqs about it..

Hey Guys!

If you are having problems with your Wii, see a doctor.

Anyway...

To fix error 209800, do what i just did...

Go to the internet connection settings and select your connection.

Click the clear settings button.

Set the connection up again!

This worked for me, if you would like some more detailed instructions, just yell out!
