best rpg where you create your character

looking for an action rpg where i create my character from the ground up. i would really prefer and action rpg, but i would be willing to look at turn based. thanks.

Etrian Odyssey 1/2 and The Dark Spire. Both are turn based and I don't no many action rpgs where you do much character building.

SOMA BRINGER i think, you kinda get to customize the character yes? and its an action, not turn base, like the zelda games but you have skills like in Tales games to spice the fighting :)Chopinist
