Would an Onimusha game suit the Wii U and gamepad?

So yeah I was thinking about how the wii u and games that may work for it. I thought of onumisha because of the puzzles it has during the game. I remember playing onimusha 1-3 on the ps2 back in the day and they are fantastic games. Maybe off tv play could work and using the gamepad for puzzles or quests in the game or even use the gamepad as a map and to use items and change equipment during the game and no more pausing.?

I think every game is a good fit for the gamepad.
