 I got a wii last month and I was wondering if there is a way you can turn off a wii mote without turning the system off please and thank you.

im not sure. u can turn off controllers 2-4 without turning off the console but im not sure about player 1. mine turned off by itself with full bateries while it was inactive(no one was moving it), but it never happened again so i dont know what caused it. maybe u can try taking out the batteries?

If you want the controller off without the console being off, just let it sit. After 2 minutes the blue light will go off and on the screen it will say "connection with the Wii remote has been interrupted" meaning it's off.

i guess if u leave it inactive it will disconnect. it happened to me once but i never bothered to find out if it was because it WAS inactive or some other reason.

besides, why would u want ur wii on all the time? u afraid ur wii will burn out cause the fans are off?
