Go for the Linksys WRT54G, or if you want something that'll aesthically compliment Wii, go for Apple's Airport Extreme.

The Linksys has a decent set of safety features, great range, and a multitude of settings that can be changed and adjusted.

Apple's product offers great range and features too but, more importantly, it just plain looks cool.

The Linksys will set you back about $50 and Apple's router will be around $200. Both are well worth the price as you don't want to skimp on quality when it comes to wireless networks. I know, I used to set up networks for a living.
