What were you planning to buy for a Nintendo DS this year?

Were you going to buy a regular Nintendo DS Lite or DSI or just happen to buy the nintendo 3DS because it was more available in stores?

Earlier this year back in January I was planning on buying a regular Nintendo DSI but then I decided for the heck of it I bought a Nintendo 3DS while just browsing around at the local Best Buy store. Bought a nice Midnight Purple Nintendo 3DS. Worth the money I guess but I really wanted to buy myself a Nintendo DSI/DSI Lite so I could keep up with whatever was new and hip for the Nintendo DS

You should be able to keep up with everything new and hip with the 3DS. 

This year? hopefully I'll have a 3DS so I can get VLR at the very least.

Oh man me too. I can't fvckin wait to find out what happens next.

Although there are other future release games I wanna get, like Bravely Default, draogn Quest VII (if it's localized) and the new Zelda.
