What is the Wii Game of the Year?

Here it is folks - take your pick.

de Blob - One of the greatest third-party games to ever grace the Wii. Great platforming action with superbly fluid gameplay, and lots of color.

Super Smash Bros Brawl - Probably the most hyped game in the Wii's lineup, and also some of the greatest local multiplayer known to man.

Mario Kart Wii - Online? Check. Mario Kart showed how the Nintendo WFC should have worked in the first place.

Wii Fit - Still selling like hotcakes, Wii Fit is Miyamoto's brainchild that has become a casual craze.

Okami - Yes, it's a port. But it's a well-done port of an amazing game.

If the title you're looking for is not here (e.g. Animal Crossing: City Folk, Boom Blox, etc.), list it in your post and state a valid reason that it should be on this list that I have concocted instead of one of the titles above.

Edit - For all of you who think that No More Heroes should be on this list, I disagree, and you can rip me apart for my own opinion. Please note that this is merely and opinion and not fact, so have at it.

Congratulations for not putting No More Heroes on the list. That game lacks so much quality it hurts. It's the most dissapointing game I have ever played. So much love for something half arsed.

On a happier note, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is fantastic! It is the Wii's most hardcore title. It is the only game with perfect multiplayer IMO and the challenges really do challenge you to the max. I clocked in well over 300 hours with this game. Best Game I have played in four years (when Pikmin 2 was released)

I hate that MK Wii doesn't get more credit. Unlike Brawl, it actually made use of the main asset of the Wii- the controls! It has way better online play than Brawl as well (no lag and faster matchmaking). Brawl is basically Melee with a few more items, characters and levels. While it is a good game, it does not compare to MK Wii. It is my Wii GOTY.

Why id de "BLAND" up there!! instead put:evil::D call of duty World at War!! Heck! its the best shooter for the wii!!hellspetrock

1.) It's a new addition to an already revolutionary IP by Nintendo which has managed to successfully get millions off the couch while enjoying themselves, something otherwise not thought possible.

2.) On that list? De Blob. Although I don't see why Power Pros. isn't on that list.

3.) No I play Mario Kart regularly and Brawl whenever I feel like listening to Nintendo music. Unfortunately a mediocre game with the balance of a three legged table and a game who's best asset is it's music should not be nominated as the Wii's Game of the Year.

4.) Only those I don't like but I'm not even doing that here.

I don't know. I just wasn't that impressed with SSBB. I have tried it and tried it, yet i can't get into it like i have with MKWii.

I know, but their should all win because they were some of the best Wii games to come out this year.

If I had to pick it would be Brawl, then Wii Fit, then MKW, then de Blob. I never pleyed Okami but I heard it was pretty good.

Honestly I believe that the Wii GOTY should belong to Super Smash Bros Brawl. Amazing multiplayer game and amazing graphics for the Wii.
