What do you guys think of Xenoblade X?

I know it was only cut scenes but waddaya think of it?

I liked the visual presentation... It looked like a JRPG and this makes me happy. Lots of action and the story seems like it'll be good from what we can gather.

Also, so far the music we've heard from the trailers has been epic... Especially from this E3 trailer.

More specific gameplay details would have been nice; maybe we'll get more this week but I doubt it.

Biggest bummer of all... It has been pushed back to 2015 :(

I'm excited for it. I wish it was going to be ready this year. Some gameplay footage would have been appreciated, too. The earlier trailers suggested online multiplayer and I'd like to get some details regarding that.

So looking forward to this game...wish they had shown more, so we can see the gameplay more what you can do, how big the world is etc...since its a 2015 title which could mean the start of 2015, mid 2015 or end of 2015..it sucks to have to wait that long.

I hope they keep the JPN voice for PAL region - EU/AU release. :)

I'm very intrigued by the story. Hard to say what it actually is but looked like the good guys were trying to colonize a new earth because the bad guys destroyed the last one. I love this stuff :P

I love me some good ol' JRPG's. It did however look uglier than the first trailer, although this one was a little messy. Still, looking forward to it. :)

I'm not a fan of JRPG's really, i'm much more looking forward to the Witcher 3.

Gotta see those vistas first. The gameplay we've seen was just a huge rocky landscape, nothing impressive visually, but the gameplay looks like more of what made Xenoblade fun.

This trailer didn't really do anything for me because it was mostly in space and didn't seem to show any environments that the game will actually take place in.

So it didn't move the needle either way for me. I knew it'd be out in 2015 at the earliest, so that doesn't bug me. I'm still excited about it just because the first game was so good.

who is not looking forward to The Witcher 3..getting it on PC :P

I'll be getting it on Ps4 at some point, but i'm not sure when i'll get a Ps4. Maybe not until late next year or even 2016 :p

The story isn't related in any way except thematically, which is fine with me. The ending of the first game was so crazy that literally anything could be possible from there anyway.

Same. That trailer could have been showcasing one of any hundreds of samey space mech JRPG/animes. What made Xenoblade unique were those massive open environments, and that's what I'me waiting to see.

Nah, the characters still look really dated up close, but....

HOLY CRAP. This game is gorgeous. If it's anything like the first one, this opening environment, as beautiful as it is, will be the least impressive of the whole game.

The trailer did nothing for me but this demo makes me more excited for this game than any other on the horizon.

They're there, and the one they're showing is absolutely beautiful. Exactly the quality you'd expect.

Wow. Yeah, they are. Looks a lot like Xenoblade. Might be worth playing just for that. I just hope they populate that environment with something more interesting to do this time, instead of those endless fetch quests and 'kill this monster' quests. Those monsters look awesome though.

basically when i knew it was coming i knew i would be getting a wiiu.

i was watching the gameplay on treehouse (stopped now...going dark on the game). now i really really want it.

shame about the push back to 2015 but what can ya do?

Yeah, normally that stuff would kill a game for me, but simply exploring each new environment, listening to the music, and having fun with the combat made me forgive the repetitive tasks that show up as side quests.

I also took a six month break halfway through, so it felt like two solid 40-hour games to me. I wonder if this game will be as long or if it'll be a more manageable length. I'm honestly fine with either one, as long as the environment design and story progression get crazier and crazier all the way to the end.

I would like to see an HD remake of the original prior to the release of X

Looks worse graphics-wise than it did before. Need to see more gameplay before I can make a real opinion.

It has been one of my most anticipated games since it was first shown. I love everything that they've shown besides the official name and release date. I was hoping to play it this year, but if it means a more polished game, I'll get over it. I would have preferred a more unique name though. Calling it 'Xenoblade Chronicles X' frustrates me as much as calling it 'X' because I'll still call it 'X' so it won't be confused with the first Xenoblade Chronicles.

I watched quite a bit of the Treehouse demo... It looks so good... The story sounds fantastic... The art style and environments look great, love seeing a huge world look so good. And the story seems awesome. I love the feeling of doom in end of the world movies and games... So awesome!! Still my most anticipated, now more than ever.

Why not just call it Xenoblade X?

I think that's what the japanese version is called. They should have just gone with that elsewhere too.

I'm not sure why I'm being so nitpicky but it's been bothering me for a while. Adding an 'X' to 'Xenoblade Chronicles' doesn't give a proper description of the game's relation to the first Xenoblade Chronicles. It's neither the 10th Xenoblade game or a HD port/remake of Xenoblade Chronicles. 'Xenoblade Chronicles Episode II' (similar to what they did with Xenogears) would have also not make sense since this isn't a direct sequel, it's a stand-alone spiritual sequel (according to the Treehouse, they could be wrong). I'm sure it must be hard to name games, but I would have preferred at least a subtitle that would given it a bit of an identity.

I have never liked JRPGs, but Xenoblade broke enough conventions of the genre to hook me for over 100 hours.

Xenoblade X is, therefore, an absolute must-buy for me. And all the information and videos we got today just solidifies that.

hahaha...yep. Save up for next year. :D
