We're getting a paper mario for Wii U! Probably!

So yesterday NOA on twitter apparently sent out a tweet about paper mario 5 for Wii U before shortly taking it down, I Couldn't find the original link today but you can try and find it if you want, and today Walmart has listed Paper Mario for Wii U. Since I already halfway expected a Paper Mario for Wii U, in my book that means we're getting one.

Just please, PLEASE no bad gimmicks, I want a traditional PM like the original and TTYD :) I think Nintendo has seen we think Sticker Star is crap so hopefully they won't mess this up!

i skipped sticker star....but im definitely itching for a wiiU paper mario game.

The last 2 Paper Mario weren't so great. If they make it like the first 2 installments I'll be all aboard.

Oh if its like the first 2 I'll be delighted. I'd even be happy if they found a way to remaster Mario RPG from the SNES era. That game was excellent as well.

Paper Mario TYD was one of my favorite GC games. The wii one was really lame and I didn't bother with sticker star. If they go back to a TYD-like game then it'll be a must buy.

TTYD was major awesomeness. If this is true, I hope what everyone else does - that it's like the first 2 games.

Super Paper Mario and Sticker Star were good, but not great.

A Paper Mario for the Wii U would be great. Thus far Paper Mario has been on the N64, Gamecube, and Wii. Even the 3DS if Sticker Star counts. I would love a game similar to Super Mario RPG. Zero chance of that happening, But if Nintendo could have a proper "Paper" ready for 2016?

I would love that, as long as its closer to the first two. Hell at this point I'd take Thousand Year Door on the Virtual Console, because I'd love to play that game again

Man, I distinctly remember the shy guy's toy box, the flower fields, Shiver City... I was also real fond of Glitzville and the Excess Express from the second one.

If it's anything like those two I'm diving into it head first!

The sales of the Wii version should make it pretty easy to guess where the series is going

Oh that's good. I've thoroughly enjoyed previous instalments, even the Wii version which everyone seems to hate for some odd reason.

So sorry you aren't happy with a little variety. I enjoyed all of the paper marios..and very happy with a little rumor that a wii u paper Mario may be in the works. Don't forget Animal Crossing, Nintendo!!!

PM Sticker Star was such a letdown. Nothing compared to the older PM games. It was unfortunately my friend's first experience with the series, and they refuse to touch another PM game because of it. I hope the Wii U version will be better.
