Leave it alone. After a while it will turn off!

Like th eother person said. Leave it alone and its going to turn off on its own. Since its a remote, it doesnt use any power while not being used.

When the remote is sitting there idling and waiting to turrn off, you're only using a miniscule amount of battery charge, so taking out the batteries isn't going to do you much good.  The electronics in the remote use almost no power, the main battery drain comes from the rumbler, speaker, and bluetooth transmitter.
