Even Generations, which was lauded as the best Sonic game since the 16 bit era is Mediocre at best.
If it weren't for the Sonic and All-Stars Racing games (Which are amazing, since they aren't developed by Sega), the next thing that needs to be put into Sonic is a bullet.
Disappointing score..but Im still getting it ..& still not getting cat mario 3d land (yea, I saw your comment wiifan001 in System Wars) :P It is disappointing to see Nintendo exclusives have either flop even with good scores.
@ANIMEguy10034: By looking at the review outlets, its seems it is getting mixed reviews, with some outlets like GameSpot giving the game lower scores, while outlets like Famitsu giving it higher scores.
It got a pretty good review from Gamespot, we'll have to wait until a few others start reviewing it. It still looks fun IMO, just seems like there are some small errors that make the game frustrurating at times. I guess we'll have to see though.

I was going to see how the reviews were going to take this game help decide I was getting this Soinc game.
After the release of Pikmin 3, with the delays of a couple games and others being multiplats, and then this didn't pan out well, the only game that helped me sold on a Wii U til the end of the year is Cat Mario, and just maybe Wonderful 101.
The vastly superior Wii lineup in 2007 had at least a decent Sonic game that being Secret Rings
Eh, that's disappointing. I was going to pre-order because it looked interesting from the videos but didn't because I was worried it might flop like this. May still pick it up when it's super cheap though.
It sad, as Tails FINALLY got to have a time to shine in the game, and it was a nice welcome. Figures they mess it up, and likely will try to point the blame at someone other then themselves.
Sadly a bad Sonic game is not new news...I was really hoping they broke out of that, but seems they still be bring out games that could have used more time.
Wow I'm surprised by those low scores after Famitsu gave it 36/40. Still kinda want to get this; I'm going to be keeping my eyes on the other reviews that come out.

I may just end up buying cat mario with the $$ that I was planning to get Deus Ex, since Square Enix try to screw over Wii U owners by charging Wii U version more than competitors..Im just gonna avoid it completely. :P
Yeah, I can say that I'm not surprised. I can tell from the trailers that the game was gonna have serious problems though I hoped they tried fixing them before the game got released...
I don't think I've really played a good console sonic game. The only truly great games in the series I've played was Sonic Rush series and Sonic Advance 3. I'm hesitant to give Sonic Generations a try.
