Probably. Did you make sure to plug in all the cables properly? It could be that you forgot to make sure that all cables were plugged in properly. Perhaps one of those thin ribbon cables. Always make sure you double check and keep track on all cables.Cesar_Barba...On a handheld, you thinking of a console aren't you?

Same thing with handhelds, specially those that flip. I have opened my DS, my Razr phone and my Pocket PC phone and done some soldering, they all had ribbon cables. If the cube had all those cables I have to put back together, the DS had more.
Yeah....
So do I need some kind of recept to get a new DS? I've heard it has a lifetime warranty.
Dakter
The reason they are debating cables is because when you say you "opened" your DS it sounds like you mean you opened it up as in took it apart. I think you are meaning you opened the clam shell to play it and never meant you unscrewed anything. Anyway, I think you have two trains of thought going on here.rgsniper1I guess I had not thought about it this way. If this is indeed the case, then chances are that it is broken (top screen). However, if you did open it, which means you had to use a special screw driver, then it could be any number of things.
