Playing Wii U In Hot Climate?

I just read that the wii u's specs has an operating range of 50 - 104 degrees F. Assuming that the inside of the system would get hotter than the ambient temperature, do you guys think that playing the console in an environment that's 90+ degrees would really be safe for the game discs? It's not something I'd be willing to try, but seeing it made me curious.

I live in a desert, and I don't have any issues. Besides I usually keep the A/C going and tend not to play my systems outside. :P
