The design has been revealed for the PDP Wired Fight Pad controller, there will be 3 different designs available; Mario, Yoshi, and Peach

The difference with this and the one announced with the adapter, is that for this one you do not need the adapter, but intead you connect it through the Wii controller

I have to say, I like the color designs for these controllers, and Yoshi's design looks like the color design of Luigi in his Fire Flower Mode

@freedom01: I agree. The designs are very well made indeed.

Back in the day, I always wanted a red Gamecube controller. Now I can finally get one! Yay!

Also, I noticed that the controllers have 2 new buttons in the middle...That's odd.

I love the Yoshi one, but I feel like it would get dirty easily with lots of use. I'll probably get it, but also get the Mario one for my main usage as well.

The Peach one looks sweet! If I can test drive any of these controllers first to test their non-suckiness, I'd buy all three.

I really don't like the colour schemes of any of them. Why they didn't just use the special edition Mario Wiimotion Plus combination I'll never know. It was perfect. Anyway, stick a Ferrari logo on the first one and it would look good xD. I hope Nintendo do something like that to coincide with the release of Project C.A.R.S.

Oh and a Star Fox one would be sweet too.

I don't think these are officially endorsed...

bumping also just to leave a statement from PDP about these controllers

"Vital stats: The PDP reps said that all three controllers will be a limited run, and will be available for pre-order at Gamestop starting now. I can't find them on the Gamestop site, so who knows how limited they are or when orders are officially open, but it sounds like it'll be soon. The PDP site lists them as going for $24.99."

Ok this makes the other controller less of a pain to me. That direct replica GC controller and adapter can be for the hardcore tourney fan with low latency. This game be used with other games and is great for SSB Wii U.

I'm still not happy. Lol

The Wii Classic Controller Pro is still outdated by an entire generation of consoles. It CAN be used for other games, but realistically most up coming titles for the Wii U won't support it.

@simuseb2: I didn't realize it's basically a Classic Controller! Well nevermind. Another accessory with limited use.

I'll say it again. It's not wise to segment your accessories with nearly identical controllers that exclusively support different segments of software. This is a mess.

for Wii U, yes SMB is the only one, but it will work with your current Wii games also.
