Hey, this is a general question, i live in canada and im havin a heck of a time tryin to find a wii. Ppl are still camping out to get them. Is it this bad for you?
I gave up and just bought mine off ebay for $350. I was about to die and have waited 2 and a half months after the launch, still not having one, so I just said "Hell with it" and bought it. So glad I did.

im with you on that one bro you would think that the wii would be findable after two months after launch..... But WRONG this is starting to piss me off and i definately aint paying $500 for some stupid bundle online where personally in my opinion, the games that they include suck. Now all i want is the system and wii sports then with the rest of the money ill but VC games but i dont see that happening for another 30,000 years or however long nintendo makes a decent amount of wii's
No one is camping out, but it's impossible to find one anywhere. Personally I'd love to have one, and am probably going to buy one when they become available, which will probably be in like MAy if this keeps up.
I was lucky to get mine. I was home on leave visiting the family when I told my parents I wanted a Wii if I could fiind one. Just so happens, my mom was at Target earlier in the day and said she thought she saw some there. So, she called them up and sure enough, they had a few. I drove there so fast, I know for a fact I was going like 20mph over the speed limit. There where 6 left but after I bought mine, two people picked one up.
I don't know. Already have one, so I haven't bothered checking how it is where I live.. Nintendo of Sweden have Wiis, though. I know this since they didn't hesitate to send me a new one when my old one broke.
EDIT: Seems like you've got to be the right person in the right place at the right time to get a Wii.. Spend your life to get a new Wii until you've got one, and I'm sure you'll get one pretty soon.
try going on website craiglist.com. thats where i got my wii and you can go on there and see if anyone sell theirs for a good price. what ya think? :)Neo19
when i visited oregon, i was lucky enough to actually find one. it was at the most random spot too. the place was called "Fred Meyer" and like most of the stuff in there is for grocery shopping, and there you have...a small electronic store ;O they only had 8 left so i had to grab one just before the day i went back to california..i must say its luck. but if you just keep calling they'll eventually will give you a yes :D

i got really lucky in finding mine. i went into bestbuy after a failed attempt at getting one at gamespot to get something for the 360 and there where none when i went in, but just as i was about too leave they set up a table with 4. luckly i picked one up before thinking because they where all gone in 2 mins.
Get this, I call Circuit City the day after the Wii came out (monday). And they have one so I haul over there cause they "are not allowed to hold anything for anyone" :roll:
I'm with you, I haven't got one yet. Most of my play time is going to friends' houses which is brutally annoying (I like hanging out with my friends, but I can't play Zelda with my buddies busting my chops to play multiplayer).
It sucks even more that I own:
Zelda TP (SINCE LAUNCH) Marvel UA A Wiimote Nunchuk combo Component Cables
BUT NO WII.

why did you buy all those things and not dedicat your time in finding awii. T found mine walking in New York and I saw it in the window and went in and bought it. I love happy endings.
