Ok so I'm thinking of ordering a Wii U. I already have a bunch of old Wiimotes (as well as nun-chucks) but their not plus. I have one motion plus adapter. I was gonna go buy some adapters but then I realized that nintendo is selling refurbished motion plus controllers for only $15 each. Seems like a better idea just to get the refurbished controllers instead. Its not like my wiimotes are that new anyway and these ones are less bulky bc no adapter.

But question is how is the quality like for these refurbished controllers?

If it's refurbished by Nintendo then it's like getting a new one.

@chansaet: Also dont forget to think about the Refurbished Mario Kart 8 set, you get the game, Red Mario remote and Red Wheel at $60, not super great, but not bad either.

No, just no

First of all its not refurbished from Nintendo, whoever is telling you that doesn't know what they're talking about.

Secondly a used controller and a Wiimote of all things? Considering mostly children play with the Wiimotes and children are filthy that's the first knock. Also considering these children did something to cause them to be sent in (spilled juice on them) that's a double no.

It's sheer stupidity to buy one of them.

@Jaysonguy: Leave it to you to hate on a refurbished Wii Remote from Nintendo store.
