Is it possible to connect the Nintendo Wifi Adapter and the Wii using a Mac Powerbook? It seems that I cant even get this thing to power on, while connected to my Mac. Any help is great and thanks...
Everyone here is wrong. Don't connect the Wii to the Mac or Windows box. Connect the Wii TO YOUR ROUTER. Ethernet cards on Macs and Windows ARE NOT ROUTING SWITCHES.

I think the new Airport Extreme N Router, Apple has to offer would route your stuff correctly, but those things are like $180 bucks. I bought the Airport before I got my Wii, I just wanted to connect my Mac to the internet wireless. But boy, did it came in handy for my Wii.

The original poster is talking about Nintendo's USB WiFi adapter. You plug it into a USB port on a PC and the Wii uses the PC as a WiFi hotspot. It is Windows XP only. I thought for sure some smart dudes out there would have come up with some homebrew drivers for OS X, but I've never heard of any.
Ah ha, i just looked it up. Looks like everyone here ISN'T out of luck. However, you are out of luck if you want to plug it into a Mac, because the drivers don't exist yet. I've gotta stop posting when I'm drinking. I totally missed the adapter that you were talking about.
