Wow that sounds like some informatoin. I don't really see the point of a keyboard for the Wii though.  That's why I have a PC/Mac.  Thanks anyway though.

I think a wireless keyboard is an absolute necessity... typing with the wiimote if it's any more than just a word or two can be a real chore. GIMMIE!

Try using your nunchuk to manipulate the pointer while selecting letters and such. I find it is alittle easier to navigate the keyboard on screen than pointing and clicking with the remote only...Maybe its just me though.

i hope they are considering it! wii-surfin would be so much easier that way.. i would probably message people more often and write more than things like 'hey' cuz i dont feel like pointing at each key w/the remote for long periods of time.  i figured they would release one in due time though.  and hopefully it is an actual keyboard unlike that nasty looking thing thats coming out for the 360 - that teeny tiny keyboard attatched to the remote.. talk about awkward

Sorry, but:

1. I need to see a link or I won't believe a word of it.  Ever.

2. Oh, so what?  I don't believe it will be useful at all!  A keyboard for TYPING?  Who ever heard of that?  Keyboards are for MMORPGs and FPSs on computers, not for communication!  Idiots!

BTW I'm totally kidding.  Sounds cool!

Browsing the web on the Wii with the Wii-remote makes a wireless keyboard an obvious necessity.

But first, I'd like to see faster browsing capabilities for the Opera Browser and the Shop.  I don't want to have to wait through 5 minutes of loading to get what's obviously going to be an error message.

microsoft said one of the primary reasons they are adding it for the 360 is to assist the addition of MS Messenger.. that would be communication.. idiot.

That sounds alright, but I would rather have Nintendo start making rechargable lithium battery kits for the wii-mote just like how microsft did for the xbox 360 charger kit. Buying batteries is the dumbest thing in the world and I think it is about time Nintendo realised this. Xbox did it, i dont see why nintendo cant do it.

We have rechargers for the Wii-Motes at my office.  They're not officially nintendo--some third party.  But I use regular batteries at home, and haven't had a problems in the past two months that I've owned the Wii.  The only difference is the rechargable battery packs weigh the remote down a little more, which can be a factor you'd need to compensate for when playing, but it's a very minimal difference.

The Wii needs faster web and shop browsing.  The Wii needs one channel for all Virtual Console games you buy, rather than a separate channel per game.  There are many things to complain about other than batteries.  Go to Costco and get yourself a pack.  It's not going to bankrupt you.
