One person picks up the quest.

The other person goes to the board next to the quest counter and selects the quest the other one initiated.

Have the person who picked up the quest from the board walk to the quest departure spot next to the board, press the button to ready up.

You should hear a chime.

Then the person who picked up the quest initially starts the quest.
