Poll Most anticipated Wii U indie game (3 votes)

Fast Racing Neo 33%
SteamWorld Heist 67%

I'm not sure how to add more than 2 options to a poll aha. What's the eShop game people are most excited for around here. For me it is Swords and Soldiers II, looking forward to the new campaign!

The games coming include:

Stealth Inc. 2 (trailer)
Mario vs. DK Wii U (trailer)
Mighty No. 9 (trailer)
Armikrog (trailer)
Giana Sisters 2
Mad Men Football
Nefarious (trailer)
Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty! (footage)
Nucleotide (footage)
Q.U.B.E.: Director's Cut (trailer)
Psyscrolr (trailer)
Swords and Soldiers II (trailer)
Rive (trailer)

Look up the game Xeodrifter, that's the most intriguing indie game to me.

Also, I'm guessing Mario vs DK is not really "indie" but then again, who knows, I'm not following the game or that series overall.

90s Arcade Racer (trailer) looks good. I hope it features multiplayer.

@roboccs: Yeah I'm not sure why I included Mario VS DK.

Pier Solar HD is the game I'm looking forward to the most. That and Soul Saga Episode 1. They should be fantastic RPGs for the Wii U.

MOTOR ROCK (If it was coming to the WiiU)

It's basically a Rock N Roll Racing HD Remake.

Out of that list though, probably Mario & DK, Not really liking the look of Mighty No. 9 anymore.

Q.U.B.E. I will need to see more on before making my decision. Same with F.A.S.T. Racing Neo

Meh, not much on that list that interests me.

Stealth Inc 2, which I don't know if it's a true sequel or a renaming of "Stealth Bastard Deluxe: Tactical Espionage Arsehole", that looks pretty good.

I've been interested in Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty for a while but only if the price is right, I think I heard it'll be $30 which IMO is too much for a remake like this. $15 would make more sense to me, $20 tops, but more than that then no wonder they haven't released it yet. I heard originally they were waiting for the PS4 version to sell a certain amount before porting it and apparently it's never going to reach its sales milestone at that price. They are in works of Abe's Exodus. I get a suspicion they'll never release this for the Wii U.

Affordable Space Adventures isn't on that list, that's one I'm looking forward to.

One game that's not on anything but the PC that I think Nintendo should reach out to get is Broforce, Nintendo was recently at an indie conference I wish Nintendo would have sought this game out, looks crazy fun...

Its depressing to see how much fun broforce looks. It makes me wish that it was on the Wii U. I'd play the crap outta a game like that.

First screen of SteamWorld Heist: Heist screenshot

RockZombie (trailer)
The Swapper (footage)

Motor Rock looks awesome, I'll be getting that for sure. I have a soft spot for Rock n Roll Racing on SNES.

I already have it on PS4, it's worth the wait. :)

Nintendo released some interesting interviews of Indie developers at Indiecade on their Youtube channel.

The Swapper is out on Wii U. I'm not sure if I'll take the $20 plunge or not; I'll need to read more reviews.

Affordable space adventures is my most anticipated. It looks spectacular. That said, I am a fervent indie supporter and I will buy any half-decent Indie game if only to support their developers.

On Steam it's a different matter, though. If I tried that on Steam, I'd be broke in two days.

Agreed. I really like the look and vibe of Affordable Space Adventures.

There is a card-based strategy rpg coming exclusively to Wii U called Lucadian Chronicles. Looks okay to me; this type of gameplay fascinates one of my brothers. Coming out soon according to a press release from the developer. Here's the trailer.
