Metroid Other M hours

I have quick question. I am playing Metroid Other M and I have just made it to sector 3, the lava section of the game. I have played about 7 hours, Why is it said that this game is 10 to 11 hours? Am I ridiculously slow or something? I just wanted to know.

took me 14 hours to beat 100% and i am slow also.

Took me about 10 hours for 100%. But thats only because of the cutscenes taking a bit of length.

I have a good amount of time on that game but I havent beaten it yet. Im stuck on the last boss, The Mother Brain... anybody else find that boss unbearably hard to beat after the first 50 tries? lol.

6.5 hours on my first play through. I don't remember what percent of items I got but I have not had the urge to go back and get 100%.

took me 12 and I got most of the items

i got stuck shortly after the two worms (nearish the start of the game, maybe about 3-5 hours in). after u fight those two worms from the ceiling, a little while later i get to a long warehouse style room with projectors to turn on or off, with a door down the far end, but its up really hig hand i couldnt figure out how to get there. never bothered with a walk through, instead just playing otehr stuff on otehr consoles in the mean time.

Did everyone determine the hours by their save file? I am up to the part where adam goes into sector zero, and my file says I have play for 9 hours, but the actual playtime from the Wii itself says I have played for much longer.

yea, my save file says 13 hours...but nintendo channel says 15...

i think nintendo channel counts all time that the game is playing... even if you pause it to go to the bathroom.

i think nintendo channel counts all time that the game is playing... even if you pause it to go to the bathroom.

Even excluding time doing mandatory bodily things like drinking and going to bathroom, I still played more hours than what the game's counter says.

you misunderstood me... i said the nintendo channel COUNTS EVERYTHING..even bathroom time. BUT the game counter stops when you pause and stuff.

I understood it, and I am saying I have been playing more than what it says. I doubt that the game has spent five hours or more on pause. I beat the final boss and don't get why they gave you the power bombs at the end other than to get the items inside certain areas you couldn't get to before.

well, got past that spot i was stuck on. didnt notice the fuzzy wall i could bomb through. NOW i am stuck just after the ice beam because my morph ball won't work anymore!!!! if i press A to use morph ball all samus does is stand there motionless until i switch to first person mode and wiggle around a bit. I have restarted the console but its still like this. anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

Reviewers to me always over exaggerate the time required to play a game. Other M took me about 16 hours to complete and 18 to get 100%. It's not a super long game compared to other Metroid games but I'm thorough and if you want there is a lot to explore in the game.

My first play through took 10 hours with 71%. Second play through took 14 hours to get 100%. Taking the time to fully explore is half the fun of the game.

i dunno but take your time, who cares how fast you beat it.

i personally have no clue how long it took me to beat it

I finished 100% in just less than 17 hours by the game's clock. I know technically played more minus bathroom breaks and eating.

Took me about 8 hours on my first playthrough.

Can't really remember how long it took me to 100%...I think like 12 hours. It is a short game. Shame on you Nintendo.
