Memory cards for the New 3DS XL

Hello everyone

I bought a New 3ds XL model a few months ago and i need to increase the memory. What kind of memory cards does the New 3ds XL take? i tried google but i couldnt find anything specific to the new 3ds.

Any help would be much appreciated!

It uses micro sd cards. You can get a 32gb card from Amazon for like 16 bucks I think.

I have a 64gb Samsung card it was 25 bucks at best buy during holidays. Works great just have to format it fat before using it.

Awesome! i heard that it will only take up to 32 gb - but maybe formatting it is a way to get around the limitation.

Yea you just have to format fat32 on your computer before inserting it. Mine says I have over 414,000 blocks free even after have several full 3ds game downloaded.
