I don't know why I think this looks good. I haven't enjoyed a Mario Party game since Mario Party 4 on GC. Maybe this will break the cycle of disappointment? Guess we'll see.

FYI: No online multiplayer that I know of.

I would get it... BUUUTTTTTT it's not on WiiU for some strange reason.

Wii Party U is not a substitute for Mario Party

Gyro controls are a MAJOR turn off for me. Might have picked it up if not for them, they never respond correctly, I usually end up having to point my 3DS up at the ceiling to get it to move an inch.

Mario Party is my guilty pleasure C: Gosh, I feel like playing it again now, thanks!

But honestly, I might pick this up, but not at its full price.

@spike6958: Have you contacted Nintendo about that? My gyro controls are extremely sensitive and I've never had a problem with them. Seems like you have a bad sensor.

It looks good, but my problem with getting the portable Mario Party games is finding people with which to play multiplayer.

I am aware of the logistic problems, but I wish they would find a way to make Mario Party games work online.

I thought Mario Party 9 was awesome! I loved the changes they made.

Yes, it leaves a lot of room for luck, or bad luck, to strike, but for someone who doesn't get too worked up with losing - like me - I thought it was a blessing how hilariously random it often was. I love that it allowed my six-year old cousin to beat me.

Mario Party 9 sort of asks you to forget about the final outcome of the board game and just enjoy the insanity of the journey. If you are able to do it, you will most likely love it.

Now, Mario Party 4 and Mario Party 8, those are two terrible Mario Party games.

Very excited for it. :D Love my Mario Party. I hope the boards are better than the tiny ones that were in Mario Party DS.

The problem with implementing online multiplayer on a Mario Party is the length of the board games. They just take too long for online play.

Still, I think they should, at least, include online multiplayer on the mini-game modes.

November 22 is gonna be a crazy day. Zelda, 3D Mario World, and Mario Party all in one day.

@nini200:

Mario Party 10 will be on Wii U. All console Mario Party games are the numbered ones. It will come along probably 2014-2015.

I don't understand why they would make a Mario party for handhelds. 90% of the fun in Mario Party is that you're playing with friends on the same screen.

That's true, but the games still sell lots of copies. So there's that... =P
