Koei Tecmo would love to work on Mario, Pokemon or others.

Hyrule Warriors was a great crossover title by Koei Tecmo and Nintendo. The team would love to build on this with other iconic Nintendo franchises. Koei Tecmo Executive Vice President Hisashi Koinuma has said that any franchise is fair game including the Super Mario series and also the Pokemon series. Pokemon Producer Junichi Masuda has also joined in saying that he would be open to a Pokemon game based on Musou as long as it wasn’t too violent. Who knows? One of these crossover ideas could eventually come into fruition.

I'd like to hear this from other trusted sites just to confirm that this info is true. (Gamespot, IGN, etc.)

I wouldn't care for a "Mario Warriors". Pokemon Warriors would be pretty cool, buy Kirby Warriors is the way to go. Look at Hyrule Warriors, then look at Kirby's copy abilities...Enough said.

Oh, and Fire Emblem Warriors would be amazing. They have enough characters.

Beating up legions of Goombas and Koopas sounds like something Hyrule Warriors fans would buy.

Same for Pokemon Warriors. That game would draw in Hyrule fans, Dynasty fans, and tons of Pokemon fans that buy everything Pokemon.

I can't say it won't happen. I remember many, many years ago making a joke/predicting about how absurd Lego Star Wars was. I spoke about Lego making deals with more companies so they can release Lego Batman, Lego Marvel, Lego Hobbit, Lego Rockband, and more Lego video games...and those games actually got made! In fact, there is a Lego Batman movie! It seems unimaginable that those games weren't always on the agenda. It seems so obvious now. I never did get Lego Transormers though, lol.

Same situation here with Hyrule. Years from now, we may be looking at a bunch of "Nintendo ___ Warrior" games. They could even make deals with Capcom, Konami, Namco, Sony, etc. Castlevania Warriors, Ghost and Goblins Warriors, Megaman Warriors, Metal Gear Warriors, Tekken Warriors, Soul Calibur Warriors, God of War Warriors, Ace Combat Warriors, Gran Turismo Warriors...

This industry is full of surprises, predictable surprises. That's an oxymoron I know, but I hope you catch my drift.

A Pokemon or Mario Warriors would be heaven sent. Hyrule Warriors was such a blast. I'd love if they moved onto other Nintendo franchises.

I'd play Mushroom Warriors if they get really weird with it and Peach shows a ton of cleavage or something. Otherwise, I'd probably pass.

I'd rather see something like Mushroom Warriors be done like EDF. Just tons of gigantic goombas coming at you.

Even if games like Hyrule Warriors sell modestly or lose a modest amount, their existence creates a further incentive to drive the adoption of (and introduction of new) Amiibos.

I wouldn't even put it past Nintendo to allow Koei Tecmo to do a Dynasty-esque mashup with the same roster variety as SSB. Captain Falco beating up Gorons? Or Kirby duking it out with Riley? I find that a compelling fan-service product, even if it's not terribly unique.

Meh, Warriors crossovers. Hyrule Warriors was just okay.

Obviously Fire Emblem would be the best title for them to change into a Warriors franchise but what about Fatal Frame Warriors? Zapping legions of ghosts with the Camera Obscura? Lol I know terrible idea lol

The thought of having a "Mario Musou" is something interesting if it is executed well.

If Hyrule Warriors is any indication they would probably make a good Mario game but Peach's boobs would double in size.
